Smile for the meat-eating kitty

Smilodon, more commonly known as the sabre tooth tiger, was a 100cm tall big cat weighing 100kg. It hunted in packs using teamwork to bring down prey like bison and prehistoric camels (sounds like those camels need camel-flage). Smilodon is part of a type of big cat long forgotten, it was a completely different branch to pumas, ocelots, leopards and heck, Smilodon was barely related to tigers! Despite being the size of modern big cats this animal was more robustly built, it was a powerfull animal. Also Smilodons were social creatures, they hunted in packs and were attracted to the distress calls of their prey.
